Match Preview MFLCC SF1 | Penang FC vs Selangor FC | Mission For Away Advantage In SF1


Selangor FC have flown to Penang for the first Semi-Final of the MFL Challenge Cup 2024/25 against Penang FC, set to take place at 8:30 tonight at the Penang City Stadium.

This is the 129th meeting between #SFCPEN. The Red Giants have won 77 matches and drawn 20. In addition, 271 goals have been scored from the meetings between these two teams.

Selangor FC Head Coach, Katsuhito Kinoshi, stated that, despite several players still being in recovery, he has full confidence in the players listed  for tonight's match.

"We must ensure the best possible training sessions to prepare for our upcoming three consecutive matches against Penang FC. While several players are still recovering from injuries, I am confident that the squad selected for tonight’s match is the strongest we can field. I have full belief in the abilities of each player." explained Kinoshi.

As for the player updates, Noor Al-Rawabdeh has passed the second month of recovery after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury. Meanwhile, Ali Olwan is working hard to regain full fitness to play after his appendix surgery.

The Selangor FC management wishes the team success in tonight’s  first semi-final of the MFL Challenge Cup 2024/25, with the hope the Red Giants will continue their winning streak.
